KAO Brands x Biore

UX/UI Design

A companion app focused on promoting holistic well-being through a highly personalized profile, helping users build a routine and find new products, as well as driving community engagement through a low-level social network.

In this project my personal role was initially brainstorming ideas and working within a small team of 8-12 individuals in different disciplines to create a project to cater to those who actively enjoy using skin care products. I interviewed customers who used engaging phone applications and took note of what they enjoyed about each application. This lead to me introducing to my team Figma and working with them on creating the Interface, mockups, and user journey for this mobile application.

Problem Statement

Persona Based on a handful of users that have had experience with social platforms, or apps that had an engaging aspect that they could not give up. We asked users what they like about the apps they used and what made them use it over other apps. The general consensus is it specifically catered to the physical product they used and they felt that it tailored to their needs.
